How To Do Microdermabrasion At Home

Holy California dry air, Y’all. Coming from Georgia where the humidity hits you like a brick wall, my skin has had quite the shock here in Cali. I have always had dry/combination skin. The breakouts probably have a lot to do with the fact that my skin isn’t adequately moisturized so my oil glands were working overtime to overcompensate. A huge part of moisturizing properly, though, is staying exfoliated so that hydration makes it through the moisture barrier on the skin. That’s where microderm comes in! Yes, microderm is for more than just fine lines or large pores.

The PMD personal microderm, is a handheld microdermabrasion tool that you can use at home. I don’t know about you, but I have little to no time to go to a spa for time consuming treatments. Not only that, but it can get pricey very quickly! Investing in the PMD personal microderm will save a ton of money in the long run, and each treatment only takes a few minutes. They are also having an amazing sale right now! $50 OFF Personal Microderm Pro! Use Code: SPICE50

I have discovered a few solid tips to successfully microderm at home. First, make sure you test an area on your arm first to see if you are sensitive. The next tip is to pull your skin taught while using the tool and only pass an area ONCE, never hovering over one place. My final piece of advice is to use the recovery mask afterward to replace the lost moisture and calm any angry skin.

I’m so excited to continue using PMD and hopefully continue seeing amazing results. So far, so good! Have you ever received microdermabrasion? What other treatments would you recommend to me for dry/combination skin with breakouts?
