1 | Favor
The holy grail of mom apps is Favor.
Do you ever think: “Why is it 2016 and the only thing I can get delivered is pizza?!”? Or maybe: “Why is my life such a mess and why am I so lazy and need things delivered?!” Just me? Favor allows you to get #anythingdelivered. Yep. ANYTHING. You could literally get mascara delivered if you ran out. Basically, you order what you need in the app, a “runner” gets your order and heads to the store/restaurant of choice, and then delivers your item. It’s so easy. Charlie and I were shopping in Atlanta the other day and I happened to have NOT packed diapers. This is not unusual, considering I’m scattered at best. I quickly entered the app, ordered diapers, and my runner brought them to me at the shopping plaza I was in.
Your credit card is saved in the app, so the runner literally hands you your item and leaves. My runner was also in constant communication via text giving me updates. This app is currently available in 23 major cities, so make sure you’re on the list! Download Favor here and use my code: TwelveSix to waive your first delivery fee.
2 | Genius Scan
How many times have you been trying to conduct personal business from your phone and been asked to sign and return a form, or send a copy of your drivers license or birth certificate? If you don’t work in an office or have a printer/scanner (me), then you would normally have to go find a Kinkos or something to achieve something super simple. This app is great. It takes a photo of something and turns it into a “copy” basically, and then exports it as a PDF. There are other options within the app as well. I use it a lot!
3 | Cartwheel
I grocery shop at Target, along with buy everything else in the world. I have saved $500 with this app this year, y’all! That’s huge. I especially love when they have amazing clothes deals on Cartwheel!
4 | Starbucks
This is kind of a no brainer, but even if I leave my wallet at home- I can get my Starbucks with just my app. I can even pay before I get to the store. Plus, as a gold member, I earn my stars easily this way and they quickly add up to earn rewards.
