My Sister-In-Law is due to have her baby any minute now! Over the last nine months I have been hoarding lots of goodies for my new nephew. One of my most recent finds was the Huggies Newborn Pack, available only at Costco.

(I have a couple of guys in my house who eat everything in sight, so Costco is my new best friend, but that’s a story for another day.) Huggies is my favorite brand of diaper and has been with both babies. I know that every mom has her preference, but I have always been confident in how these diapers keep baby’s skin dry and protected. The outside of their diapers are so incredibly soft, and they have the wetness indicator so you can easily see when they need a change. I especially love them for newborns, since they have the umbilical cord cut-out in the front, and the pocket back waistband. Huggies Newborn Packs will be $5 off from (9/1 – 9/25) with free shipping. If you know an expectant mama or you are expecting, jump on it!

Without further ado, I’m going to show you how to add a really great touch to your next baby shower: table signs! Planning and throwing parties is one of my favorite things to do. I had the pleasure of hosting one of my Sister-In-Law’s showers last month. For this shower, I had wooden signs made that I could use at all my parties. However, before I had these I made my own table signs by printing them and framing them in cute frames. It’s a really nice touch that everyone seems to love! These signs work great for any party. My best piece of advice for a new mother is to accept help when it’s offered and ASK for help when you need it. You aren’t expected to handle everything on your own, and you are not weak if you need the village.

What is your favorite piece of advice to offer new moms?
